Graduation

Well we did it! We both made it through college. I graduated December 16th, 2011 with a degree in University Studies and Alex graduated July 20th, 2012 with a degree in Accounting with a Business Management Minor from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

It has been great being done with college! We miss Rexburg and all the amazing people we met there. It definately was some of the best and hardest years of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has helped make it possible for us to get to this point in our lives.

Easter

Easter this year was very simple we relaxed and just enjoyed being together as a family. We had an Easter egg hunt. It was great watching Madison run around the house looking for eggs. When it was warm enough to go outside we had another hunt. Madison wanted a turn to hide the eggs and after seeing us hide an egg in the snow she hid all of her eggs there over and over.

Happy 2nd Birthday Madison!

It is amazing how fast time is flying. Madison is now 2! For her birthday we decorated the house with pink and purple streamers and balloons. She picked out the butterfly party hats all by herself. This birthday was really fun beacuse she was so excited to open her presents.
She got some books about Biscuit the dog, a toy mixer, more books, and an apron I made. She doesn't look to excited, but she loves wearing her apron with me.
Since it was just the three of us and we were going out of town soon we made birthday cookies. This girl loves cookie dough and licking the beater.
Madison's birthday cookie. She loves blowing out candles so we lit them multiple times before we got to eat the cookies.
And of course milk to dip it in.
Madison absolutely loves Lighting McQueen. These pajamas were definatly at the top of her favorite gift list. She wore them all night, the next day and that night. I could barely get them off of her to wash them.
When we went to Meridian to visit our families I made Madison's birthday cake. She really loves Curious George and just thought this cake was the greatest. She had the biggest smile when she saw it. It definately made all the hard work worth it.
She wasn't too sure about eating off the cake when we told her to,
but eventually got into it a little more after a lot of assuring it was ok.

Happy birthday Madison! We are so grateful you are a part of our lives, you are our life and our little sunshine!

Winter 2012

This winter we actually got to go outside with Madison and play. It was so fun to see her discovering new things. She loved the snow and was so interested in it. One of Madison's favorite things to do this winter was build snowmen. She was pretty sad when it melted though.
Well this is one of Madison's newfound favorite things to do. Get pulled around on our snowshovel around the yard. This girl could ride on this forever if only mom and dad could keep going. I lost count how many times we ran around the yard. Got to love cheap entertainment.

Madison the Builder

Madison can build a tower out of anything. Usually it is blocks, but most recently she built one with my spices. She took this very seriously and spend a good 20 minutes getting it just right.

This is her celebrating that she got three stacked without knocking them over.
She loves to help and be in the middle of everything.

Halloween 2011

Last year I took similar pictures of Madison doing this same thing. Getting into the Halloween candy. Its amazing how fast they grow up.

I'm innocent mom. I was just looking.

Madison was a bunny this year for Halloween but I didn't take any pictures! Oh well just imagine her as a cute white bunny! She loved hopping around and pointing at her tail and ears. Alex and I aren't big on Halloween so we just dressed Madison up and took her to see some of our friends. It was fun and we just got to relax.
