A Special New Toy

Our good friend Dave from Freshman Academy gave Madison his stuffed dog that he had when he was little. Dave even took it with him on his mission to Nicaragua. When he gave it to us he warned us that it needed washed since it went to Nicaragua with him, and it probably had parasites. This is how we came up with the dog's name, Parasite.
Thanks uncle Dave for the puppy, I love to play with him. -Madison

Sunday Afternoon

Everyone loves their Sunday afternoon naps. I don't think she could get any more comfy.

5 Months Old

Happy five months, Madison! Madison turned five months old yesterday, and I can't believe how fast she is growing. She loves smiling and laughing and trying to sit up by herself and roll over. She is such a happy girl and brings smiles to our faces everyday. It seems like just yesterday she came to join our little family.
We love you Madison!

Bikes

A few weeks ago Alex and I got new bikes and a seat for Madison to ride in. At first she wasn't to sure about riding bikes with us, but now she seems to enjoy it quite a bit. She likes seeing new things and being outside.

All ready to go!

It's pretty tiring riding around.

It's nice being able to spend time together as a family and enjoy the nice weather this summer.

A Busy Week

This week we've been pretty busy! Monday we watched Nikki and Steve's baby Ryker so they could go on a date for their second wedding anniversary. Alex was able to help me with the babies so they both got all the attention they needed and I wasn't stuck with two screaming babies.

I think Madison enjoyed having another little friend that was her size to play with. She loved just looking at Ryker and touching his hands. They both were so good for us!

Tuesday we drove to Pocatello to meet my parents so Sydney could come stay at our house. It was so nice to have her visit and keep Madison entertained. We went on bike rides, walks, blew bubbles and played at the park in our neighborhood.

Madison loved the swing at the park. The first time we took her she laughed and smiled the whole time, but of course I didn't have the camera with me. The next times we went she wasn't quite as excited as before, but still enjoyed it.

Mom and dad even got in on the fun playing on the teeter-totter.

Sydney also helped me finish painting Madison's crib. It's not the greatest paint job ever, but hey it's done and assembled thanks to Alex's hard work.

She seems pretty happy with her new bed. She looked so big in her last bed, but looks to tiny inside of her new bed!

We also went to Porter's and used their dye cut machine. Sydney really likes cutting out shapes on the paper. This time we found a really cute butterfly cut out, so we cut out a ton of butterflies and Sydney glued them together and decorated them.

We used them to decorate Madison's room. It ended up looking really cute!
