Madison's newest toy....
The broom
Too bad she doesn't understand how to sweep the floor yet :)

Mommy's Little Helper

Now that Madison is mobile she is always helping aka getting into things. One of her favorite things to help with is the dishes, especially if they are dirty. She pulls the silverware out and throws it into the bottom of the dishwasher because it makes fun noises. Got to love kids.

Book Worm

One of Madison's favorite activities is reading books. She sits and listens to us read book after book to her. She loves books that have things to feel and move. Sometimes she gets too impatient to listen and just turns pages. She got a really fun book about dogs for Christmas that she loves reading. Everytime she sees a dog she freezes and watches it, and loves to play with Sydneys dogs. Hopefully she will still like reading when she gets older.

Speedy

Okay, so it's almost impossible to get a picture of Madison that isn't blurry these days. She is always on the move and any time I pull the camera out she is right there grabbing for it before I can even get it turned on. She loves to walk along the couches and furniture, and crawls any time that isn't possible.

Smarty Pants

So little Miss Madison is getting bigger and bigger everyday. Recently Madison had discovered that her light switch is in perfect reach when she wakes up from her nap to get moms attention when she is taking to long to come get her. She turns the light on and off until someone comes and rescues her. It's funny to see how excited she is that she figured this out, although it isn't funny when she turns her light on in the middle of the night. Our fix for this to keep this smart little girl from turning on the light... tape. Lots of masking tape. It keeps Madison from turning on the light, as well as us.

Christmas Reindeer

While at home for Thanksgiving break, I offered to help Sydney put up the Christmas tree, and she found some antlers that my mom had made for one of our dogs many years ago. So we had to try them on.
Doesn't Sadie just look thrilled? Good thing Santa doesn't rely on her to get Christmas presents out, all she likes to do is sit on the couch and be spoiled.
Taking a break from lunch so Sydney can have some fun.
Merry Christmas!

We had a little mini Christmas with Alex's family during Thanksgiving since all of his siblings (but Blair) were in town. Madison helped me wrap our present. She loves being helpful and thought the ribbon was really fun to play with.
Such a happy and sweet girl.
Deep in thought about what she is going to do with this ribbon now that she pulled it all out of the package.

The Wii

Madison loves playing with Wii controllers. Good thing Sydney is willing to share.

For Christmas we got a Wii for our house, now we can't keep Madison away from the controllers. If she sees one she goes crazy and will do anything to get to it. Got to love technology.
